Powell Rigsby Residence Remodel, Southgate, Houston           

A circa 1934 tear-down house, prevalent in the inner city neighborhoods of Houston, that -due to their proximity to commerce and amenities- are a favorite area for new families, this house took vision and restraint to salvage. With the enthusiasm of the clients, everything that could be reclaimed and salvaged was, and the result was an open interior plan, with plenty of natural light and views. With budget restraints, the solution would be to keep it simple and basic, with good design.
